Anniversaries are always an important occasion, but 19th November 2024 is especially important for the team and I – it’s our five-year anniversary!
Looking back, I am so incredibly proud of what we have achieved; we have come so far.
It was back in 2018 that I decided I wanted to own my own salon again, and the work began to create the concept, make the plans and the find the right building.
Imagine how pleased I was when I realised the building I had always dreamed of making my salon (since the age of 16 years) was available! The rest as they say is history, and there is barely a day that I have looked back.
Well, apart from the inconvenience of a global pandemic which hit just five months after I opened, and which meant three periods of closure. As a new business that was incredibly hard and at the time; I wasn’t sure what the future held. Surviving and thriving became the new goal and years later I can definitely say I’ve done exactly that and achieved so many goals!
The thing about success and goals is that they are constantly evolving. Perhaps this is what makes the journey more exciting. My goals and aspirations now are very different to those I had five years ago,
One thing that has been a success though, and one thing which I remain incredibly proud of is my wonderful team.
I’ve been determined to ensure they feel empowered, that I provide them with the training, guidance and support so they can be their very best and that we enjoy being at work together.

So now, it’s time to celebrate all our achievements and the salons five-year anniversary.
It’s been amazing, and I can’t wait for it to continue.
