Another win at business awards!

Just a couple of weeks after the excitement of winning at the Salon Awards, I’m delighted to share that I won Self Employed Person of the Year at Doncaster Chamber Business Awards and Annie was runner up in Apprentice of the Year category.

To say I was thrilled is something of an understatement!

For me, it was the recognition from business people in the town who recognise the hard work and determination it has taken for me to build a successful business.

Being self employed is not easy, but it is rewarding, and I am so proud of what I, and the team around me, have achieved.

I’m also incredibly proud of Annie. For her to win Apprentice of the Year at the Salon Awards and be runner up in her category at Doncaster Business Awards too is amazing for someone at the start of, what I am sure will be, a glittering career.

Congratulations go to everyone who was shortlisted at the awards. If shows what a great place Doncaster is to do business, and the part that Doncaster Chamber team play in fostering a positive business culture.

Now, I’m looking forward to a well-earned rest and to a prosperous 2024 when more exciting plans will come to fruition.

And of course, I’m speaking at the first Women in Business Conference hosted by Doncaster Chamber on 24th January. If you fancy coming along, you can book a ticket here –

In the meantime, I wish you all a very Happy Christmas.

Love Rebecca
